the game is as done as it's going to get.


The initial plan was to release the game at the end of October, but I decided to just release the thing early. There are still some issues/awkwardness in the game like the title screen still declaring that the project is in beta, but I don't really have any more time to adjust it. What had initially started as a month long test of SRPG studio ballooned out into a game that took too long to make and is also too short for my liking. On one hand it's a result of poor time management but on the other hand I have two college exams coming up and an art commission that needs to be completed. It's only two and a half maps long, a lot of the assets are royalty free stuff I needed to borrow, and all in all this game feels like a disaster that has drained out too much time and energy. 

But it's done now, I'm calling it done, and I can cross making a video game off of my bucket list. I don't know if or when I'll make another video game, but for now this is it and I'm alright with that.
